AMA Columbus strongly believes that its future, and the future of the American Marketing Association as a whole, rests with college marketing students on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. AMA Columbus proudly works with any local student chapters to help get started, aid in presenters, accompany at events, refer entry-level job and internship openings and more.

Wright State University
Wright State University hosts an active student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), affiliated with the Raj Soin College of Business. This collegiate group focuses on professional development, networking, and applying marketing principles in real-world scenarios.

University of Rio Grande
Founded in 2006, the University of Rio Grande chapter of the American Marketing Association is one of the most successful small school chapters in the nation. The group strives to engage its members through professional workshops, conferences, and national competitions. In addition, the chapter plans events on campus and is active in the communities surrounding Rio Grande.

Ohio State University
OSU is proud to be a student chapter for AMA Columbus. Each quarter at Ohio State is sure to be exciting for the American Marketing Association. They try to incorporate dynamic speakers and helpful networking events to enhance student’s learning experience.

Absolutely! All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend our monthly luncheons and Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings. We offer these at significantly reduced student rates to ensure networking is accessible.

Yes. The AMA Foundation offers several scholarships, including the Diversity Leadership Scholarship and the EBSCO Student Scholar Award. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year typically open in the fall and are due in mid-January.
